Legislative Luncheon: Important Issues from the 2017 Session
Please join us on Tuesday, June 27th at noon for a luncheon featuring three northern Nevada legislators. Assemblywoman Amber Joiner (District 24), Senator Heidi Gansert (District 15), and Assemblywoman Jill Tolles (District 25) will be speaking at our June luncheon. We are fortunate to have local legislators available to speak with us about the important changes to Nevada law following this legislative session. This is sure to be a great event for all practitioners, so please mark your calendars and check back on our website's events page for more details regarding reserving your spot and the event location.

Happy Mother's Day to All of the Hardworking Moms
Mother's Day is coming up on May 14th. For attorney moms, it can be especially challenging juggling both parenthood and lawyering. But, remember that you can use your stealth lawyering skills at home too. For example, have you ever negotiated with a four year-old that he will get a new Hot Wheel in exchange for a clean room? Or have you ever crossed out unnecessary language from a waiver of liability form at a kids bounce house party? In honor of those hard-working moms, this article is for you. Happy Mother's Day!

Thank You for Making our Second Annual Lawyer in the Library Event a Huge Success!
Thank you to all of the volunteers who made this year's event a wonderful experience for all participants. This year, we were able to assist approximately 70 community members. Anderson; Lauren Berkich; Nikki Berry; Kendra Bertschy; Marilee Cate; Richard Cornell; Holly Estes; Colin Galloway; Jenna Garcia; Jennifer Gibbs; Hannah Kalsman; Brian Keefe; Jennifer Lunt; Laury Macauley; Jennifer Mayhew; Chelsea Mazza; Tim O'Connor; Veronica Peterson; Douglas Rands; Theresa Ristenpart; Don Ross; Emily Reed; Chandeni K.
