​Investiture of the Honorable Tamatha Schreinert

​On June 26, 2019, the Honorable Tamatha Schreinert was officially welcomed to the Second Judicial District Court in an impressive investiture ceremony at The National Judicial College in Reno. Governor Sisolack appointed Judge Schreinert to fill the vacancy in Department 14.
 
Judge Schreinert has extensive professional experience with the District Court. She served as a Court Master in the Family Division, and most recently practiced before the Family bench as a partner at Silverman, Kattelman, Springgate Chtd.
 
With Judge Schreinert’s appointment to the bench, another notable first has occurred for Nevada. This appointment marks the first time the Second Judicial District Court has had a female majority! Way to go ladies!
