Update: January Event Cancelled
Unfortunately we have to cancel our event scheduled for January 8, 2018. Due to scheduling at the Riverside Movie Theater, On The Basis of Sex will not be showing on this date. We are disappointed as we know this would have been a great night. We are hopeful that the movie will make its way to Reno very soon and we can look at rescheduling our movie outing for another date.
In the meantime, we will process refunds to those who had already purchased tickets.
Save the Date: February 26, 2019
Please join us on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at noon for an ethics CLE luncheon with a presentation by Kait Flocchini from the State Bar's Office of Bar Counsel. The event will be held in the large conference room at the Washoe County District Attorney's Office at 1 S. Sierra Street. Lunch will be catered by the Cheese Board.
Save the Date: March 20, 2019
In honor of Women's History Month, NNWLA will be hosting a special event at the Supreme Court in Carson City on March 20. I used to really hate the month of January, however, that changed after last year's events. I mean, sure, it is the month where everyone thinks that everything has changed, but that I realized that there is nothing to hate about it. If I do not want to change, then I am free to do that. I realized that I cannot push my ideals on others. Today, I see the month of January as a time for me to change.
